Cynthia Falk, author of the book Barns of New York: Rural Architecture of the Empire State, is Associate Professor of Material Culture in Cooperstown Graduate program of SUNY Oneonta. She will be giving a presentation on Thursday July 31 at 6:30pm in the Browntown Schoolhouse. Please come and join us for the presentation!

Barns of New York explores and celebrates the agricultural and architectural diversity of the Empire State—providing a unique compendium of the vernacular architecture of rural New York. Falk connects agricultural buildings—both extant examples and those long gone—with the products and processes made and make possible. Her book is available in our gift shop.
