Benjamin Patterson Inn Museum - Corning Painted Post Historical Society

VOLUNTEER

There are numerous volunteer opportunities at the Corning-Painted Post Historical Society and the Benjamin Patterson Inn.  All it takes to be a volunteer is a love of helping and a yearly membership in the Society.  Whatever your skills and interests, this information is designed to introduce you to the wonderful opportunities to help with history and help you help us.

Think how exciting it would be to step back in time, if just for a moment, and relive the days of yore.  Think what it would be like to use your skills to actually be a part of that time and to share with others in an authentic setting what it was really like.  Think what it would be like to be a part of the process of preserving history for the future.

It’s simple.  Just read the following information carefully, indicate the areas in which you desire to share your talents, and return the form to us with your membership dues.  Someone will then be in touch with you to talk about your specific talents and how we can work together for the good of our Historical Society.

Volunteering is a two-way street.  It is vital to community organizations while at the same time it helps the volunteer broaden his or her horizons, learn many new things, meet many wonderful people, and be exposed to many great opportunities.  Fill out your form and return it today.
